Amber Ann (安心亞) has outstripped model Lin Chi-ling (林志玲) to be voted the world’s sexiest woman, according to a poll conducted by FHM’s Taiwan edition.
Amber garnered 55,042 votes, way ahead of Chi-ling’s 28,038 votes, which puts the chart’s champion for the past four consecutive years in 5th spot — underlining the inevitable decline of the 36-year-old model and actress.
Amber’s fame started spreading like wildfire in June 2009 when she wore a practically invisible C-string on the cover of Next Magazine, after which she was called “Queen of the C-string.”
She often appears on the TV program, The Largest Political Party (全民最大黨), imitating other female celebrities and demonstrating her spontaneous personality and wit.
Model Sonia Sui (隋棠), singer Jolin Tsai (蔡依林) and the Korean girl group Girls’ Generation took, respectively, second, third and fourth spots.
